The vice chancellor for undergraduate and graduate education leads the offices of graduate and undergraduate education, and is responsible for overseeing the first-year educational experience as well as catalyzing, coordinating, and leading broader institutional efforts related to improvements in residential education. The vice chancellor partners with community members to make improvements for our students in areas such as advising, professional development, and diversity and inclusion. This includes serving as the primary educational point of contact for key student organizations such as the Undergraduate Association and the Graduate Student Council, and working closely with faculty governance and departmental and School administrators to implement and administer policies and procedures that relate to graduate and undergraduate education, including undergraduate admissions and financial aid. Reporting to the chancellor, the vice chancellor works closely with the vice president and dean for student life, the dean for digital learning, and school and department leadership.
