Join us for MIT Future Fest, Sept. 30 - Oct. 4
Dear members of the MIT community,
At MIT, curiosity, creativity, daring and drive are the air we breathe: inquisitive, inventive people working together to solve the world’s hardest problems.
So I’m delighted to invite you all to be part of MIT Future Fest, a new five-day celebration of science, technology and human understanding that starts on Wednesday, September 30.
The festival is open to the public. Some very good news: All current MIT students, faculty, postdocs and staff can register for a Festival Pass, free of charge.
Whatever your role at the Institute, this is a chance to step outside your usual routine and be inspired by other people’s ingenuity and ideas.
The program of more than 70 talks, tours, exhibitions, performances and panels showcases the kind of bold, interdisciplinary, future-shaping work the world counts on from MIT. Whether you have time for one event or many, you can explore the flagship events and the entire program on the Future Fest website, as well as the featured participants.
In particular, I invite you to join me for the Festival kick-off, which will highlight the interconnected strengths of MIT and Massachusetts as a global hub for the innovation economy. (Space is limited, so please register now to secure your place.)
