Supporting our local community
Dear colleagues,
Every year at this time, we have an opportunity to make a meaningful difference for communities across Cambridge and Greater Boston through MIT’s own Community Service Fund (CSF).
For more than five decades, the CSF has been transforming the generosity of our community into real-world impact for our neighbors. Through donations from staff, faculty, alumni, and retirees, the CSF is able to:
- Provide reliable financial support to local nonprofits that engage MIT volunteers;
- Empower MIT volunteers to apply creative problem-solving approaches and make a deep, long-term impact in local communities; and
- Advance the PKG Center’s Social Impact Internship program.
If you are in a position to contribute, a donation of any amount greatly helps. One hundred percent of your gift goes to local nonprofits that our neighbors count on and fuels impactful MIT-led volunteer efforts. We hope you will join us in supporting the CSF!
