Dear students,

Great news! All registered students living on- and off-campus will be eligible to access DAPER facilities starting Monday, May 3.

To make sure that your first visit goes smoothly, review DAPER’s reopening playbook and policies. If you are not already in Covid Pass, please follow these steps:

  1. Complete the required Covid Access steps, including the online module; and
  2. Acknowledge the Return to Campus Agreement for undergraduates and grad students.

Please don't delay! If you get a Covid test on Friday, April 30, you should be able to access DAPER facilities on Monday.

One last thing. As you may know, the CDC and Commonwealth of Massachusetts have changed their guidance on the use of face coverings outdoors under certain restrictions (the state has also loosened or is planning to loosen other Covid-related restrictions). We are waiting for an update on the City of Cambridge’s stance on face coverings, so please stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, please keep wearing your face coverings when outdoors and indoors to stay in compliance with MIT’s and Cambridge’s current requirements.

We hope this news will help to boost your well-being as we enter the homestretch of this semester.

Best,

Suzy Nelson
