I write to remind you of the many resources we have made available through the MIT Provost Office of Faculty Programs to support you throughout your career:

• Invest in your professional development: Faculty Development Programs including programs customized for different career stages (upcoming offerings as noted): CIMER-Based Mentor Training Program (Spring 2024), Life with Tenure Program (Spring 2024), Faculty Leadership - Professional Skills Development Program (Spring 2024), Academic Leaders Program for Heads (2025), as well as the New Faculty Program (2024)
• Retirement planning options and resources: Considerations throughout your career toward planning for a retirement career transition
• Partner career assistance: Faculty Partner Career Transition Assistance Program to support the partners of newly hired faculty transition their career to a position in the area
• Faculty tailored resources related to research, teaching, mentoring and advising, student support, faculty governance, libraries, work-life integration, funding opportunities internal to MIT, and a DEI Research-Based Dialogue workshop series in support of our efforts to improve our community belonging, achievement, and composition
