Seeking nominations for MIT Student Awards
Dear members of the MIT community,
MIT students continually inspire us through their creativity, leadership, curiosity, and empathy. These traits shape our campus and communities far beyond it. One of the most meaningful ways we can recognize that impact is by lifting up their achievements, so I encourage you to nominate an outstanding student or student group for awards given at the MIT Student Awards Convocation.
These awards honor the extraordinary breadth and depth of student contributions at MIT. They span programs reporting to the Chancellor’s Office and recognize excellence across academics, the arts, leadership, entrepreneurship, community building, and public service. Learn more and submit a nomination at awards.mit.edu by Friday, March 13, 2026.
The MIT community is invited to come together to celebrate this year’s award recipients at the Student Awards Convocation on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing Event Space (45-801). Additional details will be shared closer to the event.
Thank you for helping us recognize and celebrate our remarkable students.
Sincerely,
Melissa Nobles
Chancellor
