Reminder: Join the online staff forum on MIT’s response to current financial stresses

Dear colleagues,

As a reminder, all staff are invited to join a webcast to learn more about and propose ideas for MIT’s response to new financial pressures, including the recently enacted endowment tax and pending federal proposals to reduce research funding.

As highlighted in an email to all staff that we sent earlier this month, a group of faculty and staff has been exploring fiscal strategies to support and advance the Institute's mission of research, education, and innovation. Staff are encouraged to learn more about this work and provide input on the group’s initial ideas at this online meeting.
