Regarding participation in the encampment

To all students,

In response to my note yesterday regarding disciplinary action, several people have raised questions that I would like to respond to.

I want to make it clear that the current encampment on Kresge Oval, and any future such encampment on MIT property, is not approved and must end at once. There will be disciplinary action for any student known to be participating in this encampment. As we have said repeatedly, such action is necessary to ensure the safety of our community.

I recognize that this has been a challenging time for many. For any student who needs support, please reach out to any of the supports on DoingWell.
