To the members of the MIT community,

Across MIT, we bring our whole selves to discovering, innovating, and advancing knowledge in service to the nation and world. In the midst of this work, it is important for us to pause, reflect on, and celebrate community members' positive impact on the Institute and beyond.

Awards for staff, faculty, students, and postdocs

I am pleased to share that you have an opportunity to do that now by nominating students, faculty or staff members, or postdocs for one of the more than 40 MIT awards that recognize excellence in academics, teaching, the arts, athletics, leadership, entrepreneurship, community building, and public service.

Student Awards Convocation set for May 8

MIT awards for students will be given out at the Student Awards Convocation on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 4 p.m. in the Samberg Conference Center (E52). The convocation is open to the entire MIT community, so please mark your calendars and watch for more details in the coming weeks.

For now, I hope that you will nominate deserving colleagues and friends who help to make MIT the wonderful, transformational place it is.
