To the members of the MIT community,
I write today, as I do every fall, to encourage all of you who are eligible to vote in the US to do so on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
You’ll need to register in advance, and deadlines vary by state. MIT’s TurboVote can help you register or find out if you’re already registered, request an absentee ballot, or check the dates for elections in your state or territory. The PKG Public Service Center has compiled additional resources.
Tomorrow is National Voter Registration Day, so this is a great time to make a plan to vote in state and local elections that will be happening across the country. Let’s all do our part!
