Make a plan to vote!
To the members of the MIT community,
I write to you now, as we do every fall, to encourage you to vote this year on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.
Thanks to the efforts of many in our community, student voter turnout has been rising at MIT, and I want us to continue this trend – not just for students, but for all MIT voters.
To vote in November you’ll need to register in advance. Deadlines vary by state or territory. National Voter Registration Day is coming up on Tuesday, September 17, and MIT TurboVote can help you register, find out if you’re already registered, request an absentee ballot, or check the dates for elections in your state or territory. The Priscilla King Gray Public Service Center has compiled additional resources.
Let’s all do our part to help MIT get out the vote!
Sincerely,
Sally Kornbluth
President
