Good luck on finals (undergraduate students)

Suzy M. Nelson, Vice Chancellor for Student Life |

Dear students,

With the semester winding down and the winter break quickly approaching, this is the ideal time to think about how we prioritize our well-being. As always, there are many people at MIT who care about you, so please don’t hesitate to reach out or to consult the resources below that include information about self care, support, recreation and programming now and over the winter break.

An element of student wellness that has been top of mind this fall is campus dining. As many of you know, MIT launched a comprehensive dining review, and we have spent the fall assessing the condition of our dining facilities and equipment, identifying dining location preferences, and working to improve food quality and availability across campus. To better inform the Dining Roadmap, we have also held multiple student focus groups, met with student leaders, and reviewed data from over 2,200 students who completed the fall campus dining survey. Thank you for your engagement; we will be back in touch soon to share more about what we are learning.

I wish you well as you finish up the semester and hope you have a restful and restorative break.

Best,
Suzy
