THIS EVENING: MIT United Against Hate

May 17, 2022
John H. Dozier, Institute Community and Equity Officer, 2020–2023 | Thea Keith-Lucas, Chaplain to the Institute and Associate Dean |

To the members of the MIT community,

Sunday night, following the horrific shooting in Buffalo, President Reif urged us to care for and comfort one another. As we grapple with yet another murder of innocent people targeted simply because of their identity, we invite you – on behalf of the Institute Community and Equity Office and MIT chaplains – to join us, in mutual support, for a vigil as we mourn together and draw strength from across the MIT community.

MIT United Against Hate
Today – Tuesday, May 17, 5:00 p.m.
Steps of the Student Center (W20)

Staff, student, and faculty leaders will lead us in prayer and reflection.

We hope to see many of you there.

Sincerely,

John H. Dozier
Institute Community and Equity Officer

Thea Keith-Lucas
Chaplain to the Institute and Associate Dean
