Commencement 2024 ceremony schedule

To the members of the MIT community,
We write to share important information about the schedule for MIT’s Commencement 2024 ceremonies.
The format for the 2024 festivities will closely follow that of 2023’s successful Commencement:
- MIT’s 2024 Commencement celebrations will be spread over three days, from May 29–31, 2024.
- The OneMIT Ceremony on Killian Court for all graduates will take place on Thursday, May 30 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
- Undergraduates will receive their diplomas on Killian Court on Friday, May 31 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Programs, schools, and the college will hold recognition ceremonies for advanced degree recipients across the three days of Commencement. The full schedule is available at the Commencement website.
Additional information about Commencement 2024 will be available in the spring. For now, please familiarize yourself with the schedule. Degree candidates, please share this information as soon as possible with family and friends who plan to attend.
