Celebrate MIT staff on Thursday, June 4!

To the members of the MIT community:

Each year, we gather as a community for the MIT Excellence Awards + Collier Medal ceremony. This event provides the opportunity to celebrate the incredible work of colleagues from across the Institute. We hope that you will attend to recognize the talent, hard work, and collaboration of individuals and teams who have made a positive impact on our community.

The Excellence Awards recognize staff for the many ways they contribute to fulfilling the goals, values, and mission of MIT. The Collier Medal honors the memory of Officer Sean Collier, who gave his life protecting and serving the MIT community; recipients embody Officer Collier’s dedication and collegiality. The MIT Staff Award for Distinction in Service recognizes those who actively engage in building community at MIT, through actions large or small. The Gordon Y. Billard Award honors those who have made important, lasting, and wide-ranging contributions to the MIT community.
