Notes on the reporting relationships

The chairman, president, executive vice president and treasurer, and vice president and secretary of the Corporation are the four officers specified in the MIT Bylaws as officers of the MIT Corporation.

As the senior-most MIT employee serving the Alumni Association, the chief executive officer of the MIT Alumni Association is responsible to the MIT president and the MIT Alumni Association Board of Directors for the conduct of MIT alumni relations.

The MIT Investment Management Company (IMC) reports to the IMC Board, which is appointed by the Executive Committee of the MIT Corporation. The IMC president also reports to the president of MIT.
