To the members of the MIT community,

I write to invite you to honor the extraordinary contributions of MIT community members by submitting a nomination for the 2022 MIT Awards. The MIT Awards – over 40 awards that highlight the dedication and positive impact of our students, staff, and faculty – is one of our largest celebrations of achievement and service to the Institute. Awards recognize excellence in academics, teaching, the arts, leadership, athletics, entrepreneurship, community building, and public service.

I also hope that you will be able to join us at the ceremony. After two consecutive years of virtual gatherings, the MIT Awards Convocation will be held in-person on May 2, 2022 at the Samberg Center. More details about the event will be posted on the MIT Awards Convocation website.
