The Associate Provost assists the Provost in academic administration, with primary responsibilities for space (assignment, planning, and renovation). The Associate Provost manages the Institute’s renovation budget and, with the Executive Vice President and Treasurer, coordinates long-range campus planning and stewardship. In addition, he oversees MIT’s industry engagements, including the Institute’s industry-facing offices, the Office of Corporate Relations and Technology Licensing Office. He also assists the Provost and President in strategic initiatives and other Institute affairs.
